Information for nurses wishing to apply for funding for 2010 |
Applications are invited for post-graduate nursing education funding for 2010. Applications will be accepted from 1 August - 16 October 2009. Applicants will be notified of the outcome in December 2009. To be eligible to apply you need to:
- Be a registered nurse under the Health Practitioners Competence Assurance Act (2003)
- Have a current practising certificate.
- Be currently employed as a registered nurse by a health service that is funded by the DHB or Ministry of Health from Vote Health.
- Be a NZ citizen or hold a NZ residency permit as conferred by the NZ Immigration Service.
- Have evidence of support by your current employer to meet the training requirements.
- Meet the entry criteria required by the education provider.
- Be employed a minimum of 0.4 FTE.

Postgraduate Certificate and Postgraduate Diploma in named specialties
