Information for nurses wishing to apply for funding for 2010

Applications are invited for post-graduate nursing education funding for 2010. Applications will be accepted from 1 August - 16 October 2009. Applicants will be notified of the outcome in December 2009.
To be eligible to apply you need to:

Be a registered nurse under the Health Practitioners Competence Assurance Act (2003)
Have a current practising certificate.
Be currently employed as a registered nurse by a health service that is funded by the DHB or Ministry of Health from Vote Health.
Be a NZ citizen or hold a NZ residency permit as conferred by the NZ Immigration Service.
Have evidence of support by your current employer to meet the training requirements.
Meet the entry criteria required by the education provider.
Be employed a minimum of 0.4 FTE.
